The ability to give a future to the past, the importance of preserving memory, seeing history through different points of view. All this is part of the expectations of the enthusiast as well as of the occasional visitor.

The Pisani Battery Museum, open to the public since 9 July 2017, is now experiencing its rebirth as a museum venue and a true incubator of demonstrations, events and study center, thanks to the new dedicated spaces. The indoor exhibitions tell through specific themes the Great War and the territory of Cavallino-Treporti.

The restoration of the former military building represents not only the recovery of the cultural heritage but also the fulcrum of the Via dei Forti historical itinerary, the route that links together the numerous fortifications in Cavallino-Treporti.

CURRENT EXHIBTIONS

Knowing the present through the past. We have thought of a path that can bring the discovery of history closer by bringing it back to its most human aspect. After all, history is made by men, not only by facts and dates but by real lives lived by ordinary people. For this reason, each exhibition deals with the themes of the Great War through new points of view.
